The Bobsleigh and Skeleton 2011 World Championship is being held in Konigssee
Germany. Each day the competitors will train and race throughout the week of February 14th to 27th
2011. Both women and men compete in the skeleton and bobsleigh races. The bobsleigh is a sport that is known for its power and speed. The skeleton races use to take place on natural ice tracks
but most competitions now take place on tracks with artificial ice. This article includes a guide to both the bobsleigh and skeleton races taking place at the FIBT World Championships.

The clock is now ticking as the whole world waits for the start of the 2011 bobsleigh and skeleton World Championships. There are three events that are run at the World Championships according to the FIBT Federation . They are the two man bobsled and skeleton races which are open to both men and women competitors and the four man team bobsled event in which only men compete. They are set to take place in Koenigssee
Germany from Feb. 14 to Feb. 27. They will begin the week with practice sessions from Monday till Thursday afternoon.
